BY PLANE
The Rijeka Airport is located on the island of Krk, which is around 30 km away from the city. All the information about the flights can be found on the airport webpage and plane tickets can be purchased online on the web pages of airline companies or in a number of travel agencies.

BY BUS
Rijeka is connected to larger Croatian and European cities by regular international and national bus lines.
The bus station is located in the city center, in the area called Žabica (Trg Žabica 1). If you have time for sightseeing, you can leave your luggage in the left-luggage office located inside the station.

BY TRAIN
The central railway station is located close to the city centre. The information about train schedules can be found on the Hrvatske željeznice (Croatian Railroads) web page or at the information point at the station. If you have time for sightseeing, you can leave your luggage in the left-luggage office located inside the station.
The cities to which Rijeka is connected by train: Zagreb, Osijek and Ljubljana directly, and with changeovers you can reach a large number of European destinations.

BY BOAT

BY PLANE
Pula airport is the main airport in the region. Pula Airport is about 34 miles/55km south of Porec. From the airport, there are public shuttle buses that will take you to Poreč (see the timetable on the FILS website). You could also transfer to the main bus terminal in Pula (either by taxi or transfer bus) and then take another bus from there to Poreč.

You can also take a cheap flight to Trieste or Venice and then a ferry (from Venice) or a bus to Porec (guides on travelling from Trieste and Venice to Croatia).
BY BOAT
There are passenger ferries from Venice to Porec spring through fall.
